So…

Anthony(of Modern Kicks) was in SF last night, watching Andrew (not of Modern Kicks)’s band play. Apparently he saw some guy who looked like he was into power pop and started some small talk. He asked him if he played any instruments and the guy said “Yeah I play guitar, bass, ect.” So Ant starts telling the guy we’re looking for a bass player and that we’re going to Portland for two nights on tour. Then the guy tells him “Yeah that’s where I’m from.” So Anthony asks him if he likes Exploding Hearts and Nice Boys. Here’s where it blows my mind, the guy replies “Yeah I was in those bands.” It was Terry Six, the only surviving member of Exploding Hearts. We almost asked the guy who wrote Modern Kicks to join Modern Kicks. Wow.
